October is Cholesterol Awareness Month, a reminder that keeping cholesterol levels in check is vital for heart health.

Cholesterol is a natural substance in your blood. Your body needs it, but having too much “bad” cholesterol (LDL) can raise the risk of heart disease. 

Regular activity can improve cholesterol levels and strengthen your heart. Just 30 minutes a day of activity can help to make a difference.

Cardio workouts such as walking, cycling and swimming can help to manage Cholesterol levels. Strength training can help to support metabolism and maintain a healthy weight.
