Update 04/09/2026
Thank you all for your patience, understanding and continued support regarding the air conditioning issues in the Gym. We want to reassure you that we are continuing to make progress and are doing everything possible to complete this project as quickly as we can. Here is our latest update:
• We have recently met with contractors and project managers to finalise the plans for the installation of the new air conditioning system
• We are pleased to confirm that the replacement unit has now been ordered
• The unit will now go through the manufacturing and delivery process, with a lead time before it arrives with our contractors ready for installation
We remain in regular contact with all parties involved and will continue to provide updates as the project progresses
In the meantime, we will continue to have additional portable cooling units and fans in place to help manage temperatures within the gym as effectively as possible.
As a temporary alternative, you may wish to make use of our EGym, group exercise classes or swimming pool. A reminder that your membership also gives you access to all Pembrokeshire Leisure centres, providing additional options during this period.
Update 27/07/2026
Our existing air conditioning system is back in operation, whilst still not 100% effective it has improved the situation. To ensure a long-term and fit for purpose solution, a replacement system has been finalised and ordered.
We appreciate your patience while we await delivery and installation. We will continue to provide updates on our notice board as more information becomes available.

- A replacement unit has been sourced
- We are in regular contact with our contractors to ensure progress continues without delay
- In the meantime, we are taking steps to improve conditions in the gym - Additional portable cooling units have been brought in and extra fans to help manage the temperature as effectively as possible
